Categories of Membership
Fellows (FCATH) :
Eligible candidates will have an interest in the field and will hold a doctorate level degree. Alternately, candidates will hold a senior hospital-based or academic position. Candidates with a substantial publication record may also be considered for Fellowship. Medically or scientifically qualified candidates may apply for Fellowship. Fellows will be allowed to denote their status by the abbreviation FCATH. A diploma will be awarded to denote this level of membership.
Members (MCATH) :
Eligible candidates will have an interest in the field and will hold a 'Bachelor's' or 'Masters' university degree. Medically or scientifically qualified candidates may apply for Membership. Members will be allowed to denote their status by the abbreviation MCATH.
